The Early Years: Apple Computers (1976-1997)

Apple I (1976) Model Number: A1 Launch Price: $666.66

The first product from Apple was a basic motherboard designed and hand-built by Steve Wozniak. Sold as a fully-assembled circuit board but lacking a case, power supply, keyboard or monitor, it paved the way for Apple’s future in personal computing.

Apple II Series (1977–1993) — Models: A2, A2 Plus, A2e — Launch Price: $1,298

The Apple II was Apple’s first big hit. It had color graphics, expansion slots, and support for floppy disk drives. The adaptability of the machine made it a favorite in homes, schools and businesses and secured a place for Apple in the computer market.

Macintosh Plus (1986) – Model Number: M0001A – Launch Price: $2,599

A step up from the original Macintosh. More memory, a SCSI port and more storage made it a hit with desktop publishing pros.

The iPod Era (2001-2010)

The iPhone Revolution (2007–Present)
